.. ..WILLIAM STAFFORD BROADSIDES - Limited Edition Productions

The Friends of William Stafford has produced a series of limited edition poetry broadsides that are available for purchase. There are a total of fifteen broadsides in this series, representing over fifty years of Stafford's publishing life. Each of these letterpress productions were printed on archival, acid free, paper and are suitable for framing.

Proceeds from the sale of these limited editions solely benefit the ongoing work of the Friends of William Stafford, and help to fund our literary outreach programs. "Ask Me" and "Meditation" are limited edition broadsides produced by others and only available through Friends of William Stafford.

The Methow River Poems

This limited edition chapbook was originally produced for the public dedication of 7 poetry and interpretive signs that were comissioned by the National Forrest Service in the State of Washington. This publication includes all 7 poems as they appear on the signs as well as a map that locates them on a map of the 49 mile long watershed known as the Methow River Valley. This book is a genuine collectors item.

Ask Me

This limited edition of 200 broadsides was designed and printed by John Laursen of Press 22, and features an original drawing by Henk Pander. The poem, Ask Me, was originally copyright in 1975 by the estate of William Stafford and was reprinted in 1981 for a special cultural event held in Portland, Oregon called Art Quake. The was reprinted with full permissions of New Yorker Magazine, Inc. The drawing was reprinted with full permission of Henk Pander. Postage for this broadside is $10.00.
